About Me
I am a Violin and Viola teacher who enjoys teaching and working with students of all levels and ages. For over 30 years I have taught private and group lessons, as well as directing sectionals and school orchestras.
My education includes a Bachelor's Degree in violin performance from The University of Maryland and a Master's Degree in violin performance from The University of Wisconsin at Madison. I have also studied at the Eastman School of Music. I am an ATI certified Alexander Technique Teacher.
Music and teaching and performing are my passions. The joy of music was imparted to me through caring dedicated teachers I have had - I strive to do the same for my students.
In addition to teaching, I am a freelance musician and enjoy playing with chamber groups, chamber orchestras and full orchestras in concert settings, church settings and private groups.
